Employee Training Program

The purpose of this training is to give front-line employees an overview of problem/ compulsive gambling.  Upon completion, employees will have an awareness of the 800-GAMBLER Helpline, problem gambling brochures and a protocol to report incidents to supervisors and management.  Session costs are as follows (up to 50 employees each).

Each session includes:

1-hour WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ on-site presentation, PowerPoint presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies, with time for questions and additional material.

Identification cards will be provided for all employees completing the course (names to be provided by establishment).

Train the Trainer Program - $3,500

Up to 4-hour session with Casino Human Resource Trainer (other key personnel permitted to sit in on session).

Management and Supervisor Program - $5,500

The purpose of this training is to give supervisors/managers a detailed overview of problem/compulsive gambling. Upon completion management will have awareness of the 800-GAMBLER Helpline, problem gambling brochures, employee problem gambling and a protocol for front-line employees to report problem incidents. Also consultation will be available in developing voluntary, involuntary or limited exclusion programs.

Six interactive training sessions for Managers and Supervisors - up to 2.5 hours and 50 employees each (maximum 3 per day for 2 consecutive days).

Train the Trainer Program - Up to 4-hour session with Casino Human Resource Trainer (other key personnel permitted to sit on session).
