Employee Training Program

The purpose of this training is to give front-line employees an overview of problem/ compulsive gambling. Upon completion, employees will have an awareness of the 800-GAMBLER Helpline, problem gambling brochures and a protocol to report incidents to supervisors and management. Session costs are as follows (up to 50 employees each).

Each session includes:

	1-hour WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ on-site presentation, PowerPoint presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies, with time for questions and additional material.
	Identification cards will be provided for all employees completing the course (names to be provided by establishment).

Important Note: All presentations requiring airfare for our trainers will be an additional cost. Please contact our offices directly for more information.

Train the Trainer Program - $3,500

	Up to 4-hour session with Casino Human Resource Trainer (other key personnel permitted to sit in on session).
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Employee Responsible Gaming Manual.
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Power Point Presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies.
	One set of videos WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ - Employee Version and Customer Version (vignettes of problem gambling situations).
	Follow-up support.
	Identification cards will be provided for all employees completing the course (names to be provided by establishment).
	One year licensing on all materials.
	$1,000 per year renewal on materials.
	Option to obtain one year Corporate membership with the Council for additional $500.

Management and Supervisor Program - $5,500

The purpose of this training is to give supervisors/managers a detailed overview of problem/compulsive gambling. Upon completion management will have awareness of the 800-GAMBLER Helpline, problem gambling brochures, employee problem gambling and a protocol for front-line employees to report problem incidents. Also consultation will be available in developing voluntary, involuntary or limited exclusion programs.

	Six interactive training sessions for Managers and Supervisors - up to 2.5 hours and 50 employees each (maximum 3 per day for 2 consecutive days).
	Train the Trainer Program - Up to 4-hour session with Casino Human Resource Trainer (other key personnel permitted to sit on session).
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Employee Responsible Gaming Manual.
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Power Point Presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies.
	One set of videos WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ - Employee Version and Customer Version (vignettes of problem gambling situations).
	Follow-up support.

	One year licensing on all materials.
	$1,000.00 per year renewal on materials.

Full Certification Program & Sustaining Donor - $25,000

	Ten interactive training sessions for Managers and Supervisors - up to 2.5 hours and 50 employees each.
	Follow-up training sessions as needed.
	Train the Trainer Program - Up to 4-hour session with Casino Human Resource Trainer (other key personnel permitted to sit in on session) OR Ten 40-minute WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ on-site presentations, Power Point Presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies, time for questions and additional material.
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Employee Responsible Gaming Manual.
	One WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Power Point Presentation (CD-Rom) or overhead transparencies.
	One set of videos WHEN THE STAKES ARE TOO HIGH™ Employee Version and Customer Version (vignettes of problem gambling situations).
	Unlimited follow-up support.
	Identification cards for all employees completing the course (names to be provided by establishment).
	One year licensing on all materials.
	One year Sustaining Donor membership from the California Council on Problem Gambling.
	Complimentary annual supply of rack brochures, ATM stickers and posters. (Rack brochures will be provided as one color generic. Full color or custom brochures will be an additional cost.)
	Window decal certifying your establishment complies with all Responsible Gaming Standards established by the Council.
	Use of Council certification on all advertising and promotional material.
	Use of the Helpline number 1-800-GAMBLER on all advertising and promotional material.
