The California Office of Problem Gambling has awarded the contract to provide statewide problem gambling helpline services to the California Council on Problem Gambling for the sixth consecutive year. The Council is pleased to provide a service that offers uninterrupted, direct and immediate help to thousands of problem gamblers and their families throughout the year.

The California Helpline handles more calls for help than any other state helpline and CCPG believes it is the finest in the nation. In addition to saving lives, pages of statistical data are compiled and used by state officials to determine the success of prevention strategies and public awareness campaigns while calculating the need for developing culturally and linguistically appropriate resources.
