of Training presented at the
high school in Sacramento,
California to juniors and
seniors to increase awareness
of problem gambling among
high school students. This
was the first time information
on problem gambling had been
presented to teens in this
fashion in California.

was an exhibitor at the Senior
Health & Safety Fair in
Moreno Valley, California,
distributing information to
seniors about the possible
negative affects of gambling.

9, 2009: CCPG
received a special contribution
from Viejas Casino, which
withheld winnings from a player
or players who excluded themselves
from further play at the casino.
It was the first remittance
received from a tribal gaming
facility in connection with
a self-exclusion program.
- January
29, 2009:
CCPG’s Executive Director
presented to Senior Protective
Services in La Mesa, California,
which included many individuals
who worked in San Diego law
enforcement and health services.
- December
11, 2008: Chumash
Casino began to train staff
for the responsible gaming
full certification program.

and Board of Directors Meeting
at Viejas Casino in San Diego,
CA. New officers and board
members were elected.

24, 2008: CCPG’s

Courts' Family Dispute Resolution
unit about gambling addiction
and how it adversely affects
the family.

15, 2008: San Diego
interns contract was extended
to December 31, 2008, which
helps continue with low cost
gambling treatment for San
Diego County residents.
- October
7, 2008: Received
notice from the Office of
Problem Gambling that the
executive order from Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger has
been reinstated and payment
of the helpline funding contract
begins October 7, 2008.
- September
26, 2008: San Manuel
Indian Bingo & Casino
completed the “Casino
Responsible Gambling Establishment”
Full Certification for the
2nd consecutive year.

19, 2008: Pechanga
Resort & Casino completed
staff training for the responsible
