ABC Algamus for Gambling Addiction TreatmentABC ALGAMUS is the first gambling specific residential recovery center in Arizona. ABC ALGAMUS is a joint effort between Rick Benson who has been providing residential treatment and recovery options for over 15 years at Algamus Recovery Centers and Renee Siegel who has been providing outpatient recovery services at ABC Wellness Centres to gamblers and heir families in the state of Arizona for over 10 years. Rick and Renee bring their personal journey and commitment to recovery to ABC ALGAMUS and have formulated a comprehensive recovery program designed to address the specific needs of gamblers and their family members.

ABC ALGAMUS staff evaluates the gambler and provides a safe comprehensive approach to recovery integrating the 12 steps of Gambler's Anonymous, group, individual and family therapy with a wellness focus to assist in anchoring the lifestyle changes that are necessary to sustain quality recovery. Trading addictions is always addressed to minimize the likelihood of moving from one addiction to another. The length of stay is open-ended and begins with a minimum of 30 days in the beautiful mountain town of Prescott, Arizona. Prescott is just under 2 hours from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and is a strong recovery community. Residents are encouraged to establish a foundation for their recovery and then to address the financial and many times legal concerns that tend to be part of this disorder. A step down program from residential to intensive outpatient and then to traditional outpatient is available for clients staying for longer periods of time.

Arizona Licensed Counselors render treatment and are supported by peer counselors and others with strong quality recovery experience from problem and pathological gambling.

Life's Journey Center for Gambling Addiction TreatmentBeit T'Shuvah has a faith-based model of recovery. It is through this spiritual community of study, meditation, prayer and discussion that the residents transition from behavior patterns of perfectionism, failure, isolation and entitlement to life goals of progress, accountability, and gratitude. Residents look to religious archetypes, shared heritage, and communal wisdom for the strength to alter their behavior.

Beit T'Shuvah has many levels of residential treatment, designed to give each resident a unique continuum of care that provides an individualized program within guidelines. Each resident is closely monitored by members of our LEADERSHIP team as he/she progresses throughout the various programs to ensure a healthy transition into a sober life. Residential treatment varies in length according to individual client needs.

(California state funded treatment for gambling may be available for those who live in California and qualify.)
