What
programs are supported by my donation?
The
Council currently provides the following:
The
Helpline serves as the first point
of contact for those individuals in
crisis reaching out for help. Without
the Helpline those people affected
by problem gambling in California
would not have anywhere to turn when
they need to seek assistance. The
Helpline is the most expensive program
the Council supports with an average
cost of $100,000 per year. This
does not include administrative, material
or marketing costs. This is the
amount of funding needed simply to
keep the number up and running.
